THE EVER EXPANDING MEXICAN SUPREMACY IN CALIFORNIA

In 2006 we all witnessed hundreds of thousands of ranting Mexicans marching on this nation and waving their Mexican flags!

Are things any different now as the Mexican occupation has expanded?
The fastest growing political party in American is LA RAZA, “THE RACE”. The slogan of LA RAZA is “Everything for the (Mexican) race, nothing for others.” This political party represents MEXICAN SUPREMACY.

What sends a stronger message than American students having their FIRST AMENDMENT rights trampled by a Mexican Vice Principal Miguel Rodriguez, and told to subsume to illegals celebrating their Mexican supremacy?

At Los Angeles public high school, SANTEE EDUCATION COMPLEX the student body is overwhelmingly Mexicans. The classes are taught in SPANISH. Books and handout are in SPANISH. The student body sits on their ass when the national anthem is played, and schools assemblies end in !VIVA MEXICO! VIVA MEXICO!

“In Mexico, a recent Zogby poll declared that the vast majority of Mexican citizens hate Americans. [22.2] Mexico is a country saturated with racism, yet in denial, having never endured the social development of a Civil Rights movement like in the US--Blacks are harshly treated while foreign Whites are often seen as the enemy. [22.3] In fact, racism as workplace discrimination can be seen across the US anywhere the illegal alien Latino works--the vast majority of the workforce is usually strictly Latino, excluding Blacks, Whites, Asians, and others.”

ZOGBY INTERNATIONAL POLL - 2002 MAJORITY OF MEXICAN POPULATION BELIEVES THE SOUTHWEST TERRITORY OF THE U.S. RIGHTFULLY BELONGS TO MEXICO! Americans and Mexicans have widely divergent views of border issues, according to a new poll by Zogby International.
Zogby found that a large majority of the Mexican population believes the southwest territory of the U.S. rightfully belongs to Mexico, and that Mexicans should have the right to enter the U.S. without first obtaining U.S. permission. By contrast, Zogby's survey of Americans conducted within a few days of the Mexican poll shows a large majority supports reducing immigration levels and wants the military deployed along the border to protect the U.S. from illegal immigration. Zogby's poll found that 58 percent of Mexicans agree with the statement, "the territory of the United States' Southwest rightfully belongs to Mexico." Only 28 percent disagree, and 14 percent are unsure. A similar majority, 57 percent, agree with the statement, "Mexicans should have the right to enter the U.S. without U.S. permission," while 35 percent disagree. Seven percent are unsure. The survey has a margin of error of 3.5 percent. The Mexico portion of the survey was conducted in Spanish between May 25 and May 26 among 801 adults chosen at random throughout Mexico. The poll was commissioned by Americans for Immigration Control, Inc. (AIC), which advocates increased restrictions on immigration. "There is obviously a large and significant gap between the attitudes of Americans and Mexicans," said Robert Goldsborough, AIC president. "While most Americans want immigration reduced, most Mexicans think they don't even need permission to enter our country. The poll clearly shows there is less common ground for immigration negotiations between Mexico and the U.S. than the leaders think. Support for a porous border and a loose migration policy occurs only on the Mexican side, not in the U.S." Zogby's survey of American attitudes found wide majorities of Americans also oppose amnesty for illegal aliens. The U.S. portion of the survey was conducted of 1,015 likely voters in the U.S. from May 28 to May 30. It found that 65 percent disagree with the statement, "foreigners residing illegally in the U.S. should be given amnesty." Just 26 percent of likely voters support amnesty for illegals, while 9 percent are unsure. A large majority, 58 percent, agree that the U.S. should "admit fewer immigrants each year." Only 6 percent want "more immigrants each year," and 30 percent want to "keep immigration at the current annual levels." The single largest majority in the entire poll was found among Americans supporting use of the military to guard the border. Fully 68 percent of those surveyed agree with the statement, "the U.S. should deploy military troops on the border as a temporary measure to help the U.S. Border Patrol curb illegal immigration." Only 28 percent disagree, and 3 percent are unsure.

Students sent home for wearing American flag shirts
Thursday, May 06, 2010
By Teresa Garcia
MORGAN HILL, CA -- Five students were sent home from a California high school on Wednesday for wearing American flag shirts on Cinco de Mayo.
One day later, tension at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill still bristles. About 50 students carrying a Mexican flag walked out of classes Thursday morning.
Some Mexican-American students ABC7 spoke with felt it was disrespectful of the boys to wear the American flag shirts, like wearing it in the face of others celebrating Mexican heritage.
Austin Carvalho, one of the boys sent home, says he and the others were pulled aside by Vice Principal Miguel Rodriguez, who told them the shirts posed a safety issue.
"He said we could do it any other day but yesterday because we were supposed to respect their Mexican culture," Carvalho said.
But many are calling the school's action hypocritical because dozens of other students wore red, white and green, the colors on Mexico's flag, and were not sent home. Some had even painted the Mexican flag on their faces or arms.
"If they made them, like, all the Hispanic-Americans take off their red, white and green also then I maybe wouldn't have had a problem with it," Carvalho said.
"If they, people, can wear a Mexican flag in America, we should be able to wear an American flag wherever we want to go, right?" parent Diana Fedalizo asked.
"I don't think that it should cause fights; I think that everybody has the right to be who they are, and we are in America," parent Carol Clevett said.
The students wearing the flag shirts were given an option to turn their shirts inside out, or go home. They refused, claiming it was a violation of their First Amendment rights.
"We thought we could be able to wear the American flag whenever we want in America," Carvalho said.
The Morgan Hill Unified School District has come out backing the students, disagreeing with how the school handled the situation.
Now parents are asking for action.
"We demand that this assistant principal be fired," parent Donnie Croft said. "It's crazy, crazy the day you get kicked out of school for wearing red white and blue. Come on."

Students sent home over American flag shirts, bandanas
Reported by: Associated Press
Last Update: 4:46 pm
MORGAN HILL, CA -- The parents of several San Francisco Bay-area high school students who were sent home after showing up in clothing with American flags on Cinco de Mayo are blasting the school's decision.

An assistant principal at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill told the group of boys Wednesday to take off bandanas and shirts bearing American flags or turn the shirts inside out, according to some of the boys. At least one of the boys was also wearing shorts with the U.S. flag.

"They said we could wear it on any other day," Daniel Galli, one of the boys, told San Jose's KNTV. "But today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it's supposed to be their holiday, so we were not allowed to wear it today."

The boys say they were told the clothing was offending some Hispanic students and could spark fights.

They were given the choice to leave or face suspension, they said.

E-mails and phone messages left Thursday for school and district officials were not returned. But in a statement, the district called the incident "extremely unfortunate" and said it was investigating.

"While campus safety is our primary concern and administrators made decisions yesterday in an attempt to ensure campus safety, students should not and will not be disciplined for wearing patriotic clothing," the statement read.

The boys said they had no intention of sparking conflict. At least two of them said they are part Hispanic.

Julie Fagerstrom, mother of one of the boys, said they were just being patriotic and displaying their individuality.

The boys have since met with a district official and been allowed to return to school and continue wearing the clothing.

But some students at the school objected.

"I think they should apologize 'cause it is a Mexican Heritage Day," Annicia Nunez told KNTV. "We don't deserve to get disrespected like that. We wouldn't do that on Fourth of July."

SAN FRANCISCO, Cali. - On May 5 - Cinco de Mayo - five students at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California, came to school wearing t-shirts, shorts, and shoes emblazoned with American flags.

Around 10 a.m., the assistant principal told sophomore Matthew Dariano he had to remove his bandana, stating that it is against school policy.

But then Dariano, who is part Mexican, said the assistant principal told him and his friends to take off their shirts, or turn them inside out, because some Hispanic students were upset and the school feared it would start a fight.

Dariano said, "Our Hispanic vice principal was taking their side, and was thinking that we were being racist towards them, so he was discriminating against us, making us take off our stuff."

"We're not trying to start trouble," said student Austin Carvalho. "We're in America. We can't wear our own colors?"

The boys refused to take off the shirts. They were not suspended, but they were sent home.

Referring to his shirt, student Dominic Maciel said, "I think it was disrespectful to my country, if I flip this inside out."

Live Oak's principal had no comment. The Morgan Hill Unified School District, however, disagreed with the high school.

"The district does not concur with the Live Oak High School administration's interpretation of either board or district policy related to these actions," said Dr. Jay Totter of the district.

The incident has drawn widespread criticism from outside the community, and a Facebook page created in protest, titled "In Support of the Live Oak High School Five", has already drawn over

Big Increase In Illegal Aliens With Criminal Records

Last Updated: Wed, 11/04/2009 - 12:44pm

Federal immigration authorities are crediting a crucial team effort with local law enforcement agencies nationwide for a substantial increase in the number of criminally convicted illegal aliens in the last year.
The Department of Homeland Security’s largest investigative agency, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), reports that agents assigned to find fugitives who have ignored deportation orders have increasingly apprehended illegal aliens with criminal records.
Nearly half of the 35,000 immigrants arrested by ICE during the 2009 fiscal year have been convicted of crimes in U.S. courts, according to the agency’s records. The figure marks an increase of 23% from the previous fiscal year and illustrates the operation’s success in ridding communities across the country of dangerous criminals who shouldn’t even be in the U.S.
ICE officials attribute the success to a closer working relationship with local police departments that notify immigration authorities when an illegal alien is arrested and help the feds develop leads. The local-federal partnership is known as 287(g) and is ardently opposed by Latino advocates who claim it instills fear in immigrant neighborhoods and gives local police a green light to commit racial profiling and civil rights abuses.
In fact, a few months ago a coalition of influential Latino and civil rights organizations demanded that the Obama Administration terminate the 287(g) program because it exacerbates racial profiling. In a stern two-page letter to the president the army of politically-connected immigrant rights groups said local law enforcement agencies nationwide are abusing the program to target communities of color.
Obama has caved in to the powerful La Raza movement by weakening 287(g) even though it has helped reduce violent crime in local communities and aided in the deportation of thousands of criminal illegal aliens who would otherwise fall through the cracks. To obtain details relating to the incomprehensible changes, Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security because the agency has exceeded the deadline on a July public records request.

San Jose police report: Suspects in Halloween attack confessed
By Howard Mintz and Mark Gomez
Mercury News 11/05/2009
Councilwoman Campos calls emergency meeting on San Jose gang violence San Jose police arrest fourth suspect in Halloween attack on middle-school studentsNov 4:
Herhold: Avoiding the Halloween tragedy Nov 3:
San Jose police arrest three suspects in Halloween attack on trick-or-treatersNov 2:
San Jose boy shot, another stabbed while trick-or-treating Halloween nightThe four gang members accused of shooting a 12-year-old boy and stabbing his 13-year-old friend on Halloween night all confessed to police that they carried out the attack, protecting their gang turf even though they had no evidence the young trick-or-treaters belonged to a gang, according to a report released Thursday by San Jose police.
Now, the three teenagers and an 18-year-old Milpitas man face attempted murder charges, appearing briefly Thursday afternoon in Santa Clara County Superior Court, bearing tattoos and wearing jail garb. The stakes could yet escalate to murder charges for some of the defendants, as the 12-year-old shooting victim is clinging to life in a hospital. The 13-year-old victim is now recovering at home.
With community outrage over the attacks swirling around the case, District Attorney Dolores Carr announced she would try the three juvenile defendants as adults, a move applauded by Mayor Chuck Reed.
"I think that's a good thing," Reed said. "We want justice to be done. And it will be done."

The three juvenile suspects are: Hugo Torres, 15, Erik Diaz, 16, and Diego Gutierrez, 16. The fourth suspect is Eduardo Cristobal. Judge Jerome Nadler postponed their arraignments until Nov. 12 so they can enlist public defenders to represent them.
The defendants appeared to have some supporters during Thursday's brief hearing, including two young women who wept and clutched each other when the purported gang members were ushered into court by bailiffs.
Carr said her office chose to charge the juveniles as adults because of a combination of factors, including their gang membership and the fact it was "an unprovoked group attack" on the two trick-or-treaters. The defendants face a maximum sentence of life in prison.
The suspects all admitted carrying out the crime in statements to police in the days following the attacks, according to police documents made public Thursday.
The defendants said they were Sureño gang members who attacked the young victims while on the hunt for rival Norteño gang members. The San Jose police report says the two victims were "not wearing Norteño gang indicia."
But the talk at Lee Mathson Middle School, where the victims attend, has been that the attack occurred because one of the trick-or-treaters was wearing a pair of Nike Cortez sneakers, a style favored by gangs. Orlando Ramos, Mathson's principal, said he was not surprised by the confession that it was gang-related.
"I'm glad they are off the streets," he said. "This is what gangs do. I'm not surprised that they committed this violent act. These kids must have nothing going for them in their personal lives, no direction."
Police unraveled the crime the day after Halloween, when Diaz was linked to the attack because he was treated at Valley Medical Center for a stab wound.
The police report states he was inadvertently stabbed by one of his fellow gang members during the assault.
Diaz was the first of the defendants to give his account to police, telling them that Cristobal drove them to Poco Way and Sunset Avenue, near the scene of the assault. Diaz, and later other defendants, asked the two boys what gang they belonged to, cornering them in the belief they were Norteños.
Diaz, according to the police report, said Torres stabbed one of the victims, and accidentally stabbed Diaz in the process. In Diaz's account, Gutierrez and Torres were assaulting both victims when he heard a gunshot. "Suspect Diaz explained that he is not sure if Torres or Gutierrez was the shooter because he never saw a gun," the police report said.

Police, however, say when they arrested Gutierrez and searched his home the next day, a shirt was found with gunshot residue. Torres, when he was arrested, was found with bloody clothes, the report said.
According to the report, both Gutierrez and Torres confessed to police that they took part in the attacks, although the report gives no indication who fired the gunshot.
Cristobal, according to the report, admitted being at the scene as a "lookout" for the police.
City and community leaders, including Reed, City Councilwoman Nora Campos and Police Chief Rob Davis, gathered Thursday at the Alum Rock Youth Center, calling for a strong community response to the Halloween attack.
City leaders have organized a community meeting on gang prevention at Lee Mathson Middle School on Tuesday. The San Jose Police Officers' Association has set up a fund for the victims' families.
At an evening vigil, about 150 people marched through East San Jose, holding candles and carrying banners that read, "Stop the Violence." Along the way, the procession stopped at the site where the two boys were attacked. "I'm here because I have small children who walk to school and I'm worried about what might happen to them," said Reyna Flores, 40.
Osvaldo Ruelas, 18, grew up on these streets. "I want it to be safe — not just for me, but for everyone," he said. "The violence has just got to stop."

One in six Americans in poverty in 2008
By Tom Eley
21 October 2009
A revised analysis of 2008 US census data shows that 47.4 million Americans, 15.8 percent of the population, lived below the official poverty line. The figure is markedly higher than the official government tally, which recorded 39.8 million people in poverty, or 13.2 percent of the population.
The Census Bureau released the data on Tuesday, which is based on the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) method for measuring poverty, for consideration by Congress and the White House. The Obama administration is reportedly considering altering the traditional method for measuring poverty in the US, which grossly underestimates the true level of social misery.
In arriving at the higher figure, the method recommended by the NAS took into account certain factors that the US Census Bureau typically ignores, including increasing costs related to health care, child care, and transportation, as well as regional variations in the cost of living.
Among its most striking findings, the NAS method reveals that nearly one fifth of elderly Americans live in poverty. At 18.7 percent of the population age 65 and up, this is almost double the official census figure.
Around 14.3 percent of the population aged 18 to 64 is poor, a figure almost 3 percentage points higher than the official tally.
By taking into account the high cost of living in cities such as San Francisco, Boston, and New York City, the NAS figure also reveals much greater concentrations of poverty on the West Coast and the Northeast than official data suggests.
Currently, the official poverty level for a family of four is $21,203. Established in 1955, the formula for determining the poverty threshold multiplies by three the estimated annual cost of groceries.
Such official estimates, many experts and advocacy groups point out, are absurdly low.
If anything, however, the NAS data also underestimates poverty in the US. The method, for example, counts food stamps and other forms of assistance to the poor in total income. This results in a slightly lower assessment of the number of children living in poverty in the US, at 17 percent as opposed to the Census Bureau statistic of 19 percent.
According to statistical analysis by the Economic Policy Institute in 2007, a family of four in Peoria, Illinois, required $42,324 to be above poverty. In Chicago, the figure was nearly $49,000, and on Long Island in New York City, almost $72,000—more than three times the official poverty level.
Last October, a study by the Working Poor Families Project found that 30 percent of US households were in poverty. The survey, based on statistical analysis from census and labor data from 2004 through 2006, defined poverty as a condition of households unable to meet their basic needs. (See “'Working Poor' report: Nearly 30 percent of US families subsist on poverty wages”)
The social catastrophe resulting from the financial collapse of 2008 does not yet register in any of these statistics. With official unemployment at nearly 10 percent, and the real rate far higher, the unemployment crisis is the worst the nation has experienced since the Great Depression. Hundreds of thousands of workers are exhausting their modest unemployment benefits.
Meanwhile, for those fortunate enough to have jobs, wages have fallen at a rate not seen in nearly two decades, and the workweek has shrunk to its shortest on records dating back to 1960. At the same time, productivity is increasing—by a 6.6 percent annualized rate in the second quarter. And working class Americans have seen the two largest sources of their personal wealth—home values and retirement plans—decline sharply.
For these reasons, there can be little doubt that when statistical analysis is carried out for 2009, it will reveal a sharp increase in poverty.
There is little in the way of a social safety net in the US to ameliorate this misery, after decades of cuts to welfare and other social programs. On the contrary, state and city governments are responding to unprecedented budget crises by further reducing outlays for social services.

Critics say the report, by NYU’s Stern School of Business and Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, proves that corporate elites are importing cheap overseas labor simply to lower the wages of American workers. We’ll have a special report.

USA Today report: Workers face worst conditions since the Great Depression
By Barry Grey
13 June 2009
Even as US unemployment rolls soar to their highest levels in post-war history, employed workers face the worst conditions since the Great Depression, according to a front-page article in Friday’s USA Today.
Based on its analysis of employment data, the newspaper reports that pay cuts, reduced hours, furloughs and involuntary part-time work have driven the working class back to conditions not seen since the 1930s.
USA Today writes that in the first quarter of 2009, US businesses cut total wages at a staggering 6.2 percent annual rate. It notes that paychecks are being further slashed by reduced hours of work. The employed worked fewer hours in May—an average of just 33.1 hours a week—than at any time since the Bureau of Labor Statistics began keeping records in 1964.
Part-time labor, the report continues, is at an all-time high, and overtime at a record low. A record 9 million people want full-time work but can find only part-time positions.
Those who are laid off face protracted unemployment. The average duration of joblessness is at a post-Depression high of 22.5 weeks. “Baby boomers—79 million people born from 1946 to 1964—have been hit particularly hard,” the newspaper states. Unemployment rates for workers 45 years and older have reached the highest levels since at least 1948, when the government began tracking this demographic.
USAToday cites Laura Sejen of compensation consulting firm Watson Wyatt as saying, “The use of pay cuts—the last choice of most companies after hiring freezes, salary freezes and layoffs—shows how the recession is unlike any since the Depression.”
These statistics demonstrate that the American ruling elite is carrying out a class-war policy. It is exploiting the economic crisis produced by capitalism to create an environment of mass unemployment, and utilizing the threat of protracted joblessness to blackmail workers into accepting cuts in wages and benefits.
This offensive is being spearheaded by the Obama administration. Its decision to force Chrysler and General Motors into bankruptcy, while it continues to hand over trillions of taxpayer dollars to the banks, is part of a deliberate policy aimed at permanently slashing the living standards of the working class.
A raft of economic indicators and reports released this week show that, despite the talk of recovery by the government and the media, the economic crisis in the US and internationally continues to deepen. The World Bank on Thursday nearly doubled its projection of global economic decline in 2009. On the eve of this weekend’s meeting of G8 finance ministers in Italy, the World Bank said it expects the global economy to contract by “close to 3 percent,” a far bleaker assessment than the 1.7 percent decline it made in March.
World Bank President Robert Zoellick said that while there are signs that the pace of the contraction may be easing in the wealthy countries, the crisis in the so-called “developing” countries is accelerating. The fall in consumer demand in the advanced countries, combined with massive government borrowing to bail out the banks and prevent a collapse in consumer spending, has led to a plunge in exports, remittances and foreign investment in much of Africa and Asia. He warned of “large-scale public defaults” that could undermine financial institutions in the US and Europe.
Even in the wealthy countries, the much-touted recovery trends are highly exaggerated. Figures released this week showed German exports falling 28.7 percent in April from a year earlier, the sharpest drop since the government began keeping records in 1950.
The Commerce Department report on the US trade deficit for April, released Wednesday, underscored the ongoing contraction in world trade. The deficit rose to $29.2 billion from $28.5 billion in March, but most significant was a decline in both exports and imports, with the fall in exports accelerating from March. The overall decline in trade surprised most analysts, who were predicting a small uptick in world trade volumes.
China, which is being looked to by the West as an engine of global recovery, issued a disastrous report on its exports for May. They fell 26.4 percent from a year earlier, accelerating from April’s 22.6 percent decline. May exports also fell sharply in South Korea and Taiwan.
The crisis has already taken a massive toll on the wealth of the American people. The Federal Reserve Board reported Thursday that US households lost $1.33 trillion of their wealth in the first three months of the year. In its “flow of funds” report, the Fed said household net worth—total assets such as homes and checking accounts, minus liabilities such as mortgages and credit card debt—fell to $50.8 trillion, the lowest level since the third quarter of 2004.
The first quarter loss represented a decline of 2.6 percent from the final quarter of 2008. US households have seen their net worth contract for seven straight quarters. The first quarter 2009 figure represents a decline of $16 trillion from the highpoint in the second quarter of 2007.
A major part of the decline comes from the stock market. Stocks, which are disproportionately held by a small percentage of the population, have fallen $8.1 trillion from their peak. But the bulk of the decrease comes from the collapse in home prices, which are down 32.2 percent since peaking in the first quarter of 2006. Real-estate-related household assets decreased by $551 billion in the first quarter of this year, following a $974 billion fall in the final months of 2008.
Other indicators herald a further rise in unemployment, home foreclosures and defaults on consumer debt. The Labor Department’s report on initial jobless claims, released Thursday, showed that 601,000 people filed for jobless benefits in the week ended June 6. While this is a small decline, 24,000, from the previous week, it brought the number of workers collecting benefits to an all-time high of 6.82 million.
Mass layoff announcements this week included American Airlines, which said it would cut 1,600 jobs, about 2.4 percent of its work force. Delta announced that it would slash capacity, a prelude to further layoffs by the world’s largest airline.
Home foreclosure filings in May were up 18 percent from a year earlier, according to a report issued Thursday by the California firm RealtyTrac. “There were almost one million foreclosure filings in a three-month period, and that’s simply unprecedented,” said RealtyTrac Senior Vice President Rick Sharga.
The firm counted 321,480 filings nationally, making May the third consecutive month that foreclosure filings exceeded 300,000. RealtyTrac estimates that in a normal market, filings would be under 100,000 a month. May also saw a rise in bank repossessions. RealtyTrac forecasts some 4 million foreclosure filings will be made this year on 3.1 million households. This is 900,000 more than the record number in 2008.
Credit-reporting bureau TransUnion LCC reported Monday that delinquencies on bank credit cards jumped in the first quarter of this year by 11 percent from a year earlier.
The Commerce Department reported Thursday that retail sales rose slightly in May, up 0.5 percent from a month earlier. However, the bulk of the increase was the result of sharply higher gasoline prices, a trend that can only depress consumer spending going forward. Retail sales in May were still 9.6 percent below their levels of last year.
The Federal Reserve’s “beige book” survey of regional economic conditions from mid-April to mid-May, released Wednesday, showed a continued weakening of economic activity. The report, issued by the Fed’s 12 regional banks, concluded that economic conditions “remained weak or deteriorated further” in all regions.
While the report noted that businesses in five of the districts said the pace of economic decline was slowing, this marked no improvement from April, when the same number of districts reported a moderation of the rate of decline. Even the more optimistic regions reported that they “do not see a substantial increase in economic activity.”
All districts reported the labor market remaining weak and wages generally “flat or falling.” The report also warned of an accelerating crisis in commercial real estate, with vacancy rates rising “in many parts of the country.”
In the Cleveland district, manufacturers predicted that demand this year would be lower than last. They said they were continuing to cut jobs and wages and slash capital spending.
Chicago reported that sales fell, and manufacturing and capital spending declined. Dallas said business was “bouncing along the bottom.” A large number of manufacturers in the St. Louis region announced shutdowns and several auto companies said they planned permanent layoffs.
At the same time, massive government borrowing and the flooding of financial markets with dollars to pay for the rescue of Wall Street have sparked a decline in the dollar on world currency markets and sharply rising interest rates for Treasury notes. In the immediate term, this has reversed the decline in home mortgage rates, which track the yields on ten-year Treasury notes, aborting an earlier surge in home refinancings and new home sales.
Longer term, the rise in the price paid by the government to finance its huge deficits and soaring external debt—the federal government increased its borrowing by 22.6 percent in the first quarter of the year—threatens to undermine the position of the dollar as the world reserve currency, with catastrophic implications for the US and world economy.
This week Russia and Brazil announced that they were reducing their purchases of Treasury notes.
The so-called recovery envisioned by the Obama administration and the Fed entails an end to negative growth and a small rise in gross domestic product of 1-2 percent later this year or early in 2010. Even should this occur, it will not mean a recovery in the jobs and wages of workers.
The Wall Street Journal on Friday reported that economists in its latest forecasting survey expect the jobless rate to hit 9.9 percent by the end of this year. They see an additional one million jobs being wiped out over the next 12 months. As of December of 2010, they predict an unemployment rate of 9.4 percent. Even this dire prognosis is likely to prove optimistic.
The newspaper noted that officials at the Fed assume that the unemployment rate is “likely to remain above 9 percent for years.”
Within this environment of mass unemployment and wage-cutting, policy makers in the Obama administration and the Fed are demanding austerity measures to slash social spending, so as to prop up the dollar and corporate profits. The Journal cited the remarks this weak of Dennis Lockhart, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Pointing to the danger of rising rates on Treasury bills, Lockhart said the trend “can be seen as an expression of creeping doubt that the American polity, community, is up to the sacrifices, trade-off decisions and the courage of convictions the situation requires.”
This is the reality behind the administration’s talk of an imminent economic recovery. It is seeking to restabilize the banks, and the capitalist system as a whole, by wiping out the social gains won by previous generations of workers and impoverishing large sections of the working class.

How Does Mexico Treat Their Illegals? IT'S A DIFFERENT STORY DOWN THERE!

How Mexico Treats Illegals in *THEIR* Country

HOW MEXICO TREATS ILLEGAL

This is taken from a Michelle Malkin column that ran last week. A column that she took a lot of heat for. Read this and compare it to the treatment of Illegals in the US. I read it twice because I couldn't believe it.

-- The Mexican government will bar foreigners if they upset "the equilibrium of the national demographics." How's that for racial and ethnic profiling?

-- If outsiders do not enhance the country's "economic or national interests" or are "not found to be physically or mentally healthy," they are not welcome. Neither are those who show "contempt against national sovereignty or security." They must not be economic burdens on society and must have clean criminal histories. Those seeking to obtain Mexican citizenship must show a birth certificate, provide a bank statement proving economic independence, pass an exam and prove they can provide their own health care.

-- Illegal entry into the country is equivalent to a felony punishable by two years' imprisonment. Document fraud is subject to fine and imprisonment; so is alien marriage fraud. Evading deportation is a serious crime; illegal re-entry after deportation is punishable by ten years' imprisonment. Foreigners may be kicked out of the country without due process and the endless bites at the litigation apple that illegal aliens are afforded in our country (see, for example, President Obama's illegal alien aunt -- a fugitive from deportation for eight years who is awaiting a second decision on her previously rejected asylum claim).

-- Law enforcement officials at all levels -- by national mandate -- must cooperate to enforce immigration laws, including illegal alien arrests and deportations. The Mexican military is also required to assist in immigration enforcement operations. Native-born Mexicans are empowered to make citizens' arrests of illegal aliens and turn them in to authorities.

-- Ready to show your papers? Mexico's National Catalog of Foreigners tracks all outside tourists and foreign nationals. A National Population Registry tracks and verifies the identity of every member of the population, who must carry a citizens' identity card. Visitors who do not possess proper documents and identification are subject to arrest as illegal aliens.

All of these provisions are enshrined in Mexico's Ley General de Población (General Law of the Population)
